Bagus Botanicals was born in 2022 in Topanga Canyon, where founders Edward and Hannah discovered kratom as a natural alternative to alcohol and a gentle, energizing coffee substitute. What started as personal exploration quickly became a calling.
Edward, formerly in the mezcal industry, left alcohol behind after kratom helped him reclaim clarity and balance. Inspired by its potential, he and Hannah envisioned a sustainable kratom brand rooted in ethics and wellness.
Their journey led to the mountains of Borneo, where they partnered with local farmers producing reserve-grade kratom. They built a transparent supply chain focused on fair trade and environmental sustainability.
